Something went on between Walgreens and Express Scripts and it led to the former being out of the latter’s network of pharmacy providers. What happens now to the people who rely on getting their prescriptions filled at Walgreens? Well, they have to find another pharmacy now. I know that will become a hassle and I don’t blame the people for getting mad over the unsuccessful negotiation of the new contract between the two. As you should know, Walgreens did their best to get the contract signed. They offered to hold their rates as is. They offered to match the prescription costs of those under Tricare network, where the troops are under. They offered a lot but was disappointed that Express Script wants to control a lot of things.

For those who still want Walgreens to be their pharmacy provider, they are now offering memberships to the Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens! Families and individuals alike can become members of the club. Family membership is offered for a meager $10 a year and that will include members of the immediate family as well as the spouse and dependents 22 years old and younger as well as pets. Individual membership is $5 a year. Want to become a member and continue enjoying the benefits you are getting from before and better discounts now?

Join Walgreens Prescription Savings Club now and stay updated by following Walgreens on Twitter. And when I grew up from childhood until I reached the age of puberty, my parents and grandparents indulged me with everything I eat. Oh yes, eating was heaven at that time and I never regretted that they allowed me to eat whatever I wanted to eat. I was in my growing years then, young and very hyper active and because of that I needed all the energy that I can get. However, when I reached eighteen, I became suddenly conscious with my figure. Unfortunately, it the time when I thought that it was too late to slim down because I was a little overweight already. Good thing a good friend introduced me to Slim-Fast. With the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan, slimming down had become an easy task for me. I did not feel like I am on diet because I eat three healthy meals a day and I even have snack options with Slim-Fast.

When I started my weight-loss project, I replaced my breakfast and dinner with the Slim-Fast shake and meal bars. And then I eat snack bars during ten in the morning and at four in the afternoon and a full 700-calorie meal during lunch. I stayed on that meal pattern for around eight months and my friends were just so amazed with the results.

Slim-Fast is really a big help, especially this Christmas season. It helps us become conscious of what we eat and it minimizes cravings too!! Do like Slim-Fast fanpage on Facebook. So what are you waiting for?! Buy your first Slim-Fast products available at Wal-Mart, Target, Safeway and Kroger and online at Amazon.com and the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Store on Facebook and start your Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan now!

Paranormal—from the word “para” and normal, which means, beyond normal. When we talk of paranormal, we associate these with ghosts, spiritual entities, chupacabras, UFOs, Bigfoot, werewolves, jersey devil and a lot more. But the bottom line is do these creatures really exist? Or are they only products of human imagination? Since childhood, I haven’t encountered any of these and that makes me believe that it doesn’t exist. However, my brother who had an opened third eye says otherwise.

I really got so pissed off when we had a 12-hour black out in the village last Saturday. I really hated what they did because there was no notice or announcement that was made by the electric company beforehand! We were just so surprised when we woke up without electricity last Saturday morning. All of us in the village really complained because all our electricity-aided chores were interrupted. We can’t do our laundry; we can’t make use of the internet and a lot of stuff. Now, we are making a move to make our complains reach the electric company’s president because obviously, we are not getting what we pay for.

Pregnant women are at risk if they are infected with the varizella zoster virus—the chicken pox virus. They are at risk because the possibility of the baby being infected with the virus exists. The virus will go into the blood stream of the mother and the virus might go through the placenta and to the baby. What’s worse is that a pregnant woman cannot just take any medications, more specifically anti-viral drugs, for chicken pox! Sadly, the probable effect for this is that the baby might have some defects when it comes out. I just pray that cases like these would be very minimal.

When I was younger, I used to think that wearing eyeglasses is kind of cute. But now that I am prescribed to wear eyeglasses, I realized that it’s not that easy because aside from the adjustments of having those additional accessions on my face, the cost of getting the glasses that I want is quite overwhelming! It is really hard to find cheap eyeglasses nowadays. Good thing my ophthalmologist friend recommended to me Zenni Optical—an eyeglass manufacturer that sells eyeglasses at a very low cost. They offer their fashionable and stylish product at a cost that everyone could afford because they sell it at a factory price. They do not have middlemen, no retail overhead, and practically no advertising budget that is why they could always afford to sell it at a low price. Just imagine the amount that you could save if you choose to buy Zenni’s eyeglasses.

My ordered pair of eyeglasses from Zenni Optical will be delivered tomorrow and I am very excited about it! I do not believe that only expensive stuffs are of good quality while those cheap goods are of poor quality because I know Zenni Optical brings to all a very high quality product of great durability, safety and comfort at truly reasonable and affordable prices. Affordable glasses are really so helpful for my pocket in today’s economy.

Adult Stage Chicken Pox is some kind of different from a child’s chicken pox. For one, there is the probability that an adult who gets the chicken pox virus will have a worse case compared to a child having the same infection. The length of healing also differs—an adult heals longer than a child does. I was twenty-two when I had my chicken pox and so I decided to see a dermatologist for my medications so that I would heal faster. And so it did! My doctor expected the pox to last until two weeks but my pox lasted only for a week. I really didn’t have any regrets spending for medicines and consultation fees.

It has been a misconception that once a chicken pox virus will only hit you once. I mean, no one is going to be immune with that virus. Mind you, my mother had a chicken pox twice. The only difference is that her second time focused only on her tummy part. And when she went to the doctor, the doctor said that she got “herpes zoster”—a skin infection that is caused by the same chicken pox virus. We really got scared with the thought of the possibility of having chicken pox the second time around. And I found the need to really take Vitamin C every day!

Before, there were no treatments for chicken pox. As the elders said, you leave it alone because you body will heal on its own. But in our fast-paced world today, a lot of people would freak-out if they’ll have to take two weeks from work just because they have the chicken pox virus and it is contagious! And because of that, an anti-viral drug that we call Valtrex has been developed. When I had my pox, I was really amazed because I was advised to take the medicine for seven days. But after two days of taking it, it has shown its effect already. On the third day, I got so happy because I am already on the healing process. It is really effective but it’s just quite expensive.

Chicken Pox is the most dreadful skin disease for me. I hate the way it looks like and I hate the itching part. No matter how one will stay away from people who have this thing, time will come that it will really hit you. That was one of the realization I had recently and it made me research on the cause of this thing. I learned that a varizella zoster virus, in essence, this thing is a viral infection that is seasonal and can be acquired if one had been exposed to another person with chicken pox. This is common among children but can infect adults too. It was just so unluck for me because I got infected without knowing if I have ever been exposed to somebody with chicken pox.
