It has been a misconception that once a chicken pox virus will only hit you once. I mean, no one is going to be immune with that virus. Mind you, my mother had a chicken pox twice. The only difference is that her second time focused only on her tummy part. And when she went to the doctor, the doctor said that she got “herpes zoster”—a skin infection that is caused by the same chicken pox virus. We really got scared with the thought of the possibility of having chicken pox the second time around. And I found the need to really take Vitamin C every day!
