Before, there were no treatments for chicken pox. As the elders said, you leave it alone because you body will heal on its own. But in our fast-paced world today, a lot of people would freak-out if they’ll have to take two weeks from work just because they have the chicken pox virus and it is contagious! And because of that, an anti-viral drug that we call Valtrex has been developed. When I had my pox, I was really amazed because I was advised to take the medicine for seven days. But after two days of taking it, it has shown its effect already. On the third day, I got so happy because I am already on the healing process. It is really effective but it’s just quite expensive.
